A Taste Of Life
We finally got a taste of Pepper Lunch. I liked it. Did not love it. Maybe the other dishes would hit me with more impact.
Speaking of food, my Canadian brother has put up his own blog, Taste Asia. Now, this guy can cook. Hop on over there if you are into good food.

Bank Robbed
More than two weeks ago, I tried to buy an item online using my Unionbank Visa EON Card. The payment attempt was unsuccessful. Upon checking my account, I found out that Unionbank charged my account for the failed payment. WTH?!? Right then, I called their customer service and I was told to email a dispute letter along with related documents, and so I did. I did not get any replies within three days, and so, I called again. I was told the same thing, send an email. I did again, plus I also sent a fax. No acknowledgment whatsoever from Unionbank.
So, here I am now, just got off the phone again, was talking to their darn customer service. I was told they did not get any emails nor faxes from me, when in fact I have been sending emails every three days, and in total I have sent five faxes with the last one being just this morning.
People do not even have to leave their homes to get robbed these days. SMH.

The End
" We have gone and did it this time. We had an absolutely serene and beautiful thing, and we have gone and messed it up entirely. Idiots, we all are. Fools too, if we think mother nature is going to lay there while we keep on raping her. She is coming back right at us, with all her might, armed to the teeth, and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis. It is in the air. Soon, it will end, everything will. Sooner than we think, and we do not have anyone to blame but ourselves.
Forget your raincoat. It will not help. Nothing will. "

Throwback Friday
This could be the last time we stand.
This could be the last time that we say good-bye.
The picture shatters.
I cant find the words to save it.
Tell me what to do, how can I make it right?
We will always be fire and ice. "
- Poison, "Until You Suffer Some"
Woke up real early. I glanced at the luminous hands of my watch, it was barely past 3am. I stared at the ceiling, I sensed Little Popot's green stars staring back at me. Then, without warning, words filled up my head. Words to Poison's Until You Suffer Some. I tried recalling the whole thing, it did not work. I found out that I have forgotten "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" too. That made me a little sad.
After repeating the chorus of Fire and Ice a few times, I went down and had a cup of coffee. My first cup in more than 16 years. Just like before, it had no effect on me. I still wanted to go back to sleep.
I was still nodding to Poison when I came out of the shower. While dressing for work , I tried, really hard, to remember where my Doc Martens are. When I looked down I saw a classic 8-eyelet boot on my foot instead of the loafer I really had on. A smile might have started to break just then. But, I was too busy gathering stuff for work to notice.

Cooked
Caloocan carved a win.
Manila brought the heat.
Yes folks, that there is this year's Iron Chef.
(Caloocan boys, bow down to the one you serve!)
Looks edible enough.
Had to do some editing out, backgrounds were annoying. Not my shots, see, no angles.

The Time Is Near
This an edited post. I am replacing the original text with an image as folks were saying all they were seeing are "boxes". That is the (cyber) universe's way of saying, "Dump I.E.!"

Gone Green
Had to deal with the Chinese by myself. Still, thanks for going green with me, guys. Until next time.
